Warnings For This Group:

The doctor warns not to take Celexa 20 mg for people with certain health conditions group. These groups are as follows:

For people with heart problems: Don’t take Celexa 20 mg if you have a heart problem. Taking this medication may be at higher risk of serious heart problems which can cause sudden death. People with slow heart rates, recent heart attacks, or severe heart failure should also not take this medicine.

For people with low potassium levels: Don’t take Celexa 20 mg if you have low potassium levels. Taking this medication and having low levels of potassium may put you at higher risk of a serious heart problem which can cause sudden death.

For people with kidney disease: Talk with your doctor before using Celexa 20 mg if you have kidney disease. This drug may cause more side effects in people with severe kidney disease.

For people with liver disease: Celexa 20 mg is processed by the liver. If you have liver disease, the levels of Celexa 20 mg in your body might increase. You may have more side effects. People with liver disease should not take more than 20 mg of  Celexa per day.

For people with a history of a seizure disorder: Celexa 20 mg can increase your risk for seizures. Talk with your doctor before using this drug if you have a history of seizures.
