Demerol 50 mg or W D 35 White Round Pill is a narcotic(opioid) medicine that belongs to phenylpiperidine drugs. The Food and Drug Administration approved it for moderate to severe pain treatment. The inactive Ingredients of this medicine are Calcium Sulfate, Dibasic Calcium Phosphate, Starch, Stearic Acid, and Talc. Meperidine hydrochloride is the active ingredient.

The Chemical representation of DEMEROL is 4-Piperidinecarboxylic acid, 1-methyl-4-phenyl-, ethyl ester, and hydrochloride. It works by activating μ opioid receptor (MOR) and the principal actions of Demerol are analgesia and sedation therapeutic value. This should not be not be utilized for chronic pain.
